Used in the 1950s by a local Norfolk family who built fishing boats for the community, it’s been lovingly renovated into a warm and comfortable holiday home. Stroll along the seafront with an ice cream, discover Sheringham’s history in the museum and lifeboat station, wander along the busy high street with its local shops, seafood stalls, and fish and chip restaurants, or enjoy some traditional fun in the little theatre. The Poppy Line steam railway runs to Holt (6 miles), which is filled with independent boutiques, antiques shops, galleries, and a delicious local food scene, or you can explore the coastal trails, wildlife reserves and sandy beaches along the coast to Wells-next-the-Sea (17 miles) and beyond.

A typical Norfolk brick and flint construction, this two-storey building has a host of original features. Patio doors lead out from the lounge to a small balcony with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying an evening meal or morning cuppa in the salty sea breeze. While there’s no garden or patio area, the property does have off-street parking for two cars.
