Sheringham beach, town centre, golf course and coastal path are all within 300 metres, yet it occupies a quiet plot in an enclosed lawned garden so it feels like you’re really getting away from it all. There are ample lovely walks to enjoy, including the 5-mile coastal path to Cromer, and the landscaped park and woodland gardens of Sheringham Park (2 miles). Hop on the Poppy Line steam railway to explore the boutiques, galleries and antiques shops at Holt (6 miles), or head west along the coastal road to enjoy the sandy beaches, wildlife reserves and local food scene to Wells-next-the-Sea (17 miles) and beyond.
