Sheringham is home to all the traditional entertainment you could want from a British beach holiday. You can eat ice cream, sticks of rock and fish and chips. Spend your days walking the promenade, sunbathing on the long stretch of sand, exploring the rock pools, following the snorkel trail, trying kayaking and SUP boarding, or going sea fishing. Get a culture fix in the town’s museums, galleries and theatres. Head out of town to the 1,000 acres of National Trust gardens at Sheringham Park (2 miles) or take a ride on the North Norfolk Steam Train through beautiful scenery to Holt (8 miles).
