Large Sussex Holiday Cottage in Stonegate that sleeps 8 just a short drive to the beach at Hastings, set out all on one floor except for the twin bedroom which is on the first floor and is a great get away from it all for those younger members of your family.

This Sussex Holiday Cottage has recently been totally refurbished by its owners and turned into a fabulous rural hideaway in an area of outstanding beauty. A perfect, peaceful base from which you can explore the area, relax and enjoy the beautiful Sussex countryside and the stunning views from the end of the garden during your stay.

The cottage has 4 bedrooms: 2 king sized bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. The yellow bedroom has an en-suite WC and basin, the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and the main bathroom is very roomy with a bath, power shower, basin and WC.

At the end of the garden is an additional garden room where you can sit and enjoy the stunning countryside views out across the valley, maybe even finish the day with a BBQ and a glass of something whilst watching the sun go down. Perfect!

The cottage is located on a working farm and at different times of the year the surrounding fields can be filled with sheep, lamps, pigs and cows, giving you an authentic taste of the countryside.


Ground floor

Front door opens into a porch with bench and hooks. Door through to the sitting room.......

To the right of the front door is a King sized bedroom with a king sized bed, bedside tables and lights, chest of drawers, wardrobe and mirror.

The sitting room has a large “L” shaped sofa and rug, side tables and lights, mirror, sideboard with a large 48” TV, DVD player, Sky, Freeview and Wi-Fi. There are 2 additional wicker chairs in the cottage that can be used in the sitting room. Large log burner to keep everyone cosy and warm during colder months.

Off the sitting room is the yellow bedroom with a double bed, bedside table and lights, chest of drawers, wardrobe and mirror. This bedroom benefits from an en-suite WC, basin and mirror.

Master bedroom off the sitting room with french doors that open up onto a patio and then down to the garden. There is a King sized bed, bedside table and lights, dressing table with mirror, hairdryer, wardrobe, chest of drawers, 21” TV, Sky, clock radio.

En-suite shower room with shower, WC and basin, mirror.

Large main bathroom with a separate power shower, bath with mixer taps and hand held shower, WC, basin, mirror, shaver socket.

Off the sitting room is a large kitchen and dining room with a kitchen table that seats 8 comfortably, a lovely welsh dresser, TV with Sky, additional storage and chairs. There are bi-fold doors leading out to the pretty patio area where there is a garden table and chairs. Steps lead down to a mature garden with amazing views out across the fields.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob and oven, overhead extractor fan , microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and an assortment of recipe books in case you are tempted to experiment with some of the plentiful local produce you can get from the many farm shops nearby.


Stairs up to…

First Floor

Twin bedroom with twin beds, sofa, bedside table, lights, radio, chest of drawers, wardrobe and additional Velux windows giving the room a light and airy feeling. This spacious twin room is great for children to play games in and has a 32” TV, Sky and a DVD player.

Outside

At the end of the garden is a “garden room” which has a charcoal BBQ, additional outside seating and views across the woods and fields. It is tranquil, so peaceful and lovely - a great, private spot to while away the time each day.

There is also a tennis court which the owners are happy for you to use with prior agreement.

Additional Amenities

Additional amenities include a welcome pack on arrival. Underfloor heating, Sky, Wifi, games, DVD’s, bed linen and towels provided. High chair, travel cot and stair gate available on request. BBQ.

Prices include bed linen, bath towels, all utilities, pre-arrival and departure cleaning and a welcome pack. The changeover day for weekly bookings is a Friday in high season. Other start days may be possible on request in the low and mid-season. Short breaks may commence on any day.

There is a £30 booking fee per holiday and a £450 security deposit is required prior to arrival which can be pre-authorised on a credit/debit card.
