















A fabulous art deco apartment in Swanage that sleeps 6, near the beach. An idyllic coastal town on Dorset’s Isle of Purbeck, Swanage is loved for its iconic Victorian pier, gently sloping sands and sweeping bay where children can paddle and play in safety. Located at the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast – England’s first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site – the town is famed for its traditional seaside feel, though a busy calendar of festivals and fun events makes it a year-round destination and a great base from which to discover Purbeck. Take a journey back in time aboard the Swanage Railway, which operates full-size steam and diesel passenger trains from the coast to Corfe Castle, 5.5 miles away. Time stands still, too, in the ‘lost village’ of Tyneham (11.5 miles) which was evacuated in 1943 and has been deserted ever since. No visit to the area would be complete without a trip to Lulworth Cove (17 miles), world-famous for its panoramic views, unique geology and crystal-clear waters. To the other side of Swanage, Studland Bay (3.5 miles) is another much-loved beauty spot with, at its southern end, one of the most famous landmarks on the South Coast: the stack of chalk known as Old Harry Rocks.
