West Bay holiday apartment by the beach. This two-bedroom apartment overlooks the harbour in West Bay village and the sandstone cliffs of East Beach, which you may recognise from the TV series Broadchurch. There’s plenty to do here – take a stroll around the harbour for an ice cream or fish and chips, climb the coast path up to the top of the cliffs, hire a rowing boat up the River Brit or join a fishing trip out from the harbour. The market town of Bridport is 2 miles away and has a fantastic antiques quarter, a twice-weekly traditional market and a good range of independent shops, restaurants and cafes.

The charming hallway has space to hang coats and leads to an open-plan living/dining area with comfortable seating and a fold-out table that can be used either as a desk or a dining table. The kitchen area features a breakfast bar with seating for two, and doors opening out onto a balcony with outdoor seating – you can set up a table and chairs for dining or relax on sofa-style seating with cushions. One bedroom has a king-size bed, a Juliet balcony with sea views and an en-suite shower room, and the other has a zip-and-link super-king-size bed that can be made into twin beds on request. There is also a beautiful family bathroom.

The property does not have any outside space, but the harbour is on your doorstep should you wish for some fresh air.
