A lovely Whitby seaside cottage that sleeps 8. Within easy reach of all of Whitby’s popular attractions, this centrally located property makes a fantastic getaway for up to eight guests. Metres away from the Royal Crescent and the Whalebone Arch, the house is perfect for families wanting a relaxing seaside holiday, with the golden sands of Whitby Beach less than a half a mile away.

Other attractions include Whitby Museum, Pannett Park, the start of the Cinder Track and the Dracula Experience. Crossing over the River Esk, you can climb the 199 Steps up to the ruins of Whitby Abbey, or visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum. Outside the town, you can explore the North York Moors or visit the idyllic Robin Hood’s Bay just 6 miles away. The property could not be in a better location from which to explore Whitby, the beach and surrounding areas. Lots to do including a superb pizza resturant only a short walk away.

Entering this welcoming property, the hallway leads through to a relaxing lounge with a coal-effect electric fire and plenty of seating so you can browse through a selection of books, play games or watch a movie. The airy kitchen/diner features a charming dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing a wide choice of dishes. There’s also a separate WC on this floor. Stairs lead down to the lower ground floor where you will find a handy family bathroom and a utility room with plenty of useful equipment.

There’s also a fantastic family games room which has a TV, large bean bags, a football table, an air hockey table and a selection of games, books and DVDs to keep everyone occupied. The four beautifully decorated bedrooms can be found on the first and second floors. The first floor features a double room, a twin room with a TV, and a bunk bedroom with a set of full-size bunks. There’s also a stylish first-floor bathroom. Finally, on the second floor, an elegant double bedroom features a TV, a skylight set in a low, sloping ceiling and a refreshing en-suite bathroom.

Outside, the private, enclosed patio to the back of the property has plenty of garden furniture and makes a lovely space for sitting back with a glass or two of wine at the end of a great day.
