Spend days building sandcastles, swimming, sunbathing or surfing. The village has a couple of cafes, shops and pubs, too. Join the scenic South West Coast Path that runs through the village and winds along the coastline in both directions. If you are feeling adventurous, take the 6-mile walk to Croyde Bay. For a fabulous family day out, head to Watermouth Castle and Theme Park (10 miles).

Head into this ground-floor apartment via a few steps, or a ramp, and into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. High ceilings, a traditional fireplace, and oak floors provide nods to the building’s Victorian history.
