Versatile accommodation means that it would also suit a group of friends holidaying together. Located right on the seafront in Woolacombe the apartment is just in front of the small and sheltered Barricane Beach. It is also a mere 400 metres from Woolacombe Beach, a beautiful three-mile stretch of golden sands considered one of the best beaches in the UK. Woolacombe has won all sorts of awards for its cleanliness and safety and is a wonderful family-friendly beach always popular with returning visitors.

When the swell is right it also draws in the local surfing community. The town itself caters well to holidaying families and groups with its great range of cafes and restaurants. For those that would like to explore the dramatic coastal paths of North Devon a great place to start is at the historic village of Mortehoe 1.2 miles away. Visiting the larger town of Ilfracombe 6 miles away makes a good day trip with its historic harbour and range of independent shops and cafes to explore. From there, visitors can continue on to discover the dramatic coastline and inland beauty of Exmoor National Park.

The spacious apartment can be accessed either directly from the Esplanade at the front, or via a lift from the parking area at the rear. Once inside the apartment, it’s all on one level with large windows stretching wall to wall across the front of the building. This design means that the apartment takes full advantage of the magnificent coastal views. The huge open-plan living area incorporates a lounge, dining area, kitchen, reading area and a children’s play area. There is plenty of comfortable seating throughout and a great range of spaces for the entire group to spread out in. Doors lead out onto the seaside patio, which is shared with the adjoining apartments. The sleeping arrangements are versatile with a king-size bedroom and en-suite, a twin room and a further twin room featuring a zip-and-link bed that can be converted into a super-king if requested in advance. This room also has an en-suite shower room. There is a further family bathroom with a bath.

Outside guests will find a large paved seafront terrace that is shared with the adjacent apartments. This is the ideal social spot for breathing in the salty morning air or watching the sunset with a drink in hand. There is also a secure storage area at the rear of the apartments for all your beach gear and boogie boards.
