Beach Cottages

Situated down on the most southern point of Devon, East Prawle makes for a great holiday destination if you are looking to avoid the crowds this summer. The beach is mainly rocky and is accessed by a couple of steep paths that lead off the coastal path. There is a small car park nearby but apart from that there are no other major tourist facilities. The views from the cliffs overlooking Prawle Point are spectacular and act as the arrival and departure point for thousands of migrant birds and butterflies. East Prawle was historically an important lookout post for enemy ships as well as a vantage point for spotting distressed sailors.

In this section of the website we have listed a selected number of self-catering East Prawle holiday cottages to rent, ideal for families or large groups sleeping up to 12 guests. You’ll find most of the holiday homes include all the features you would expect from quality self-catering accommodation with some being pet friendly, handy given that the local beach is happy to accept dogs all year round. To see more beach rentals near East Prawle check out the self-catering cottages in Salcombe listed with us, many with pets welcome and sea views, perfect for families, couples or groups.
