The pretty village of Goleen is 3 miles away, and has two cosy pubs and a handful of local shops. Further afield, you’ll find the harbourside village of Schull (10 miles), which has a great range of places to eat and drink. The village is synonymous with sailing, and hosts a popular regatta every summer. As you’d expect, the walking and wildlife watching opportunities in the area are endless. For a truly breathtaking walk, encompassing a dramatic footbridge and Ireland’s most southerly point, head to the Mizen Head visitor centre (7 miles away).

The detached property is set at the end of a remote, coastal road.
