It’s set just 1.5 miles from the characterful small village of Glengarriff, where there are places to eat and drink, a nine-hole golf course and a range of attractions, including a nature reserve, wild swimming and an interactive sculpture garden. Follow the Wild Atlantic Way touring route 9 miles to Bantry and try some world-renowned Bantry Bay mussels, or head to Kenmare (18 miles) and explore its colourful streets lined with enticing shops and places to eat and drink.

Spend relaxed evenings in the comfortable lounge, the focal point of which is the fireplace, or while away the time in the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner, a great space in which to plan your next day’s adventures. The two lovely double bedrooms are both on the ground floor, sharing a shower room, and there’s an additional WC on the first floor.

The sunny back garden has a lawned area as well as a patio with outdoor furniture, perfect for al fresco entertaining.
